Biography

Graduated from UL in 2016 with a BSC Food Science & Health. Niamh founded BiaSol in 2020 alongside her brother Ruairi. Niamh is responsible for product management and operations of the business. She understands the technical side of food production including the brewing process and has in depth human nutrition knowledge. She has accumulated this knowledge through professional experience with previous roles in the food sector most recently managing the delivery of a Bord Bia backed healthy eating program. She recently led the team and site to achieve a BRC A grade accreditation. Niamh was selected as a Food on The Edge Ambassador 2022, made the Irish Independents 30 under 30 list along with being recognised in the Image Women in Business Awards. The company has also received numerous awards most notably Blas na Heireann 2022 & 2023, Irish Times Innovation Award 2021, RDS Sustainability & Innovation Awards 2023 and the National Start Up Awards Winner 2023.
