Max has a decade of experience in life sciences, with a synthetic biology PhD from Oxford and two master’s degrees from Cambridge in biotechnology and business.
Max has worked across the UK, Europe and the US. He started his career consulting at Microsoft and Cambridge Consultants, before working as an R&D scientist at Gen9 (founded by George Church and acquired by Gingko Bioworks in 2017). He then worked as an investment associate in biotech VC at RT Partners and consulted for deep tech, consumer health and other startups. Most recently he served as an advisor to future food companies Formo and Jelly Drops.
