Fair to Nature is the only UK certification scheme with a focus on biodiversity and reversing nature loss on UK farms. Based on scientific evidence, it is designed to deliver demonstrable biodiversity benefits on certified farms and provide food businesses with the means to address the nature crisis and to engage and enrol their customers.
He is a senior member of the RSPB’s business team, which supports organisations in transitioning to a way of business that protects and restores the natural world. Mark has almost 30 years of experience working with the food industry, the vast majority focused on sustainability initiatives. Prior to joining RSPB, he was Director of Food and Network Development at the UK’s largest redistribution charity FareShare, and before that, he was Head of Commercial Relations for food and beverage at The Fairtrade Foundation. Mark was Director of Sustainable Business at leading behaviour change agency Corporate Culture and spent his early career at Procter and Gamble.
