At Suntory Beverage and Food GB&I, I’m responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy at the local market level. We have committed to become Net Zero across our value chain by 2050 which has been validated by the SBTi. We have short-term targets to reduce our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions 50% by 2030 and Scope 3 emissions 30% by 2030, as well as 100% sustainable plastic packaging by 2030 (100% recyclable and made from either recycled or plant-based material) and robust targets on reducing water use and food waste. Our purpose is to work in harmony with people and nature which makes sustainability fundamental to everything we do here at SBF GB&I.
