Professor Sharon Green is Director of Apprenticeships and Skills at the University of Lincoln and Deputy Head at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing. She is a Food Technologist who worked for several years in the food industry before commencing her academic career. Sharon is a Professor of Vocational Education and Skills Development and is responsible for the strategic development, operational oversight, and delivery of the University’s apprenticeship and skills portfolio. As a champion of vocational student engagement and the student experience, Sharon has led multiple projects focussing on the development of vocational education and skills within the sector.
