Kök Projekt

After his graduation in Tourism Management, Semi Hakim continued his career as a chef following his professional culinary training. As a chef, he conducted research projects on food and culture, worked within gastro-diplomacy projects, coordinated food events across the globe, and led projects focused on supporting small-scale food producers in Turkey. In 2015, Semi Hakim co-founded the Kök Projekt and integrated his sector experience on developing agri-food entrepreneurship programs within Emerging Markets. Kök Projekt is a startup accelerator and a corporate innovation partner that works with companies, governmental organizations, and investment funds to empower agri-food entrepreneurs across Emerging Markets.
