Robert Crook

Robert is a member of the Agriculture and Food team of Innovate UK. Innovate UK is the Government body with responsibility to accelerate UK economic growth by supporting and funding business-led innovation projects across all industry sectors.

His role is to understand the challenges for UK and global agriculture and food production sectors and to identify and promote the development of innovative UK technologies and companies to address the current and future needs.

Robert is a Chartered Engineer and in previously worked in product development for a multinational agricultural equipment manufacturer managing engineering programs at global locations. This work provided direct exposure to global agri-business, livestock and crop production systems and the development and application of new technologies.
