Nick Girkin

Nick’s expertise focusses on measuring, monitoring, and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions across a range of ecosystems and spatial and temporal scales, and assessing opportunities for enhancing carbon sequestration. He has led and contributed to a series of projects funded by the UK government, research councils, and industry, addressing sustainability challenges across a range of tropical agroecosystems, including palm oil, tea, coffee and cocoa.
