Forum for the Future
Geraldine Gilbert is a principal advisor in the food team at international sustainability non-profit Forum for the Future. Geraldine helps food-related organisations, in particular businesses, to think long term, to better understand and tackle complex sustainability challenges to do with the future of the food system. She is currently leading the development of Forum’s thinking and tools around Sustainable Nutrition, to help leaders seize the opportunities that ensure better outcomes across both sustainable food production and health and nutrition. She is responsible for Forum’s relationships with several food industry partners, including Ahold Delhaize, Cafédirect, Ella’s Kitchen, Pret A Manger and Sainsbury’s.
Geraldine studied anthropology and human rights, and worked for various NGOs and French Fairtrade organic food brand Alter Eco, before joining Forum in 2007. She’s also a trustee of Nishtha UK Trust and on Board of London food social enterprise Growing Communities.
