Gal Tsaban graduated from Ben Gurion University (BGU) of the Negev School of Medicine in 2016 (cum laude) where he also completed a Master in Public Health studying the effects of distinct dietary patterns on pericardial fat tissues.
Dr. Tsaban was trained at Soroka University Medical Center (SUMC) in Beersheba, Israel at the department of Internal Medicine and currently is working as a Cardiology fellow in SUMC. He continues his research as a member of Prof. Iris Shai’s research team in BGU with the focus over hormonal, metabolic, cardiovascular and electrophysiological changes under distinct lifestyle interventions among people with obesity. Current research fields are primordial and primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases among in-risk population with central obesity.
