Annika has a background in applied research in malting and brewing sciences and bioprocessing, and holds a PhD in Chemical Technology. Before moving to Viking Malt in 2017, she was responsible for sales of research services to the food sector at VTT Technical Research Institute of Finland. At Viking Malt, Annika has been responsible for the development of Viking Malt’s business towards the food sector, launching the new germinated bean ingredient Sprau in 2020. As head of CSR, she has also built the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and reporting.
