About

Caribbean Export is a trade and investment development agency focused on supporting private sector development in the Caribbean.  Caribbean Export aims to optimise the export potential of MSMEs, as well as highlight the investment potential of the Caribbean to the international community with the ultimate aim of creating meaningful jobs, generating prosperity and alleviating poverty. It was established in 1996 to serve 15 States of the Caribbean Forum (CARIFORUM), namely: Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. Caribbean Export’s work focuses on nine priority areas: Agro-processing, Creative Industries, Financial Services, Health and Wellness, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Specialised Tourism and Renewable Energy. Caribbean Export Services Caribbean Export supports CARIFORUM firms to develop their businesses specifically for export. Our services include capacity building, technical assistance, access to finance through grant schemes and the provision of useful information and resources to support businesses to become export ready. In the area of export promotion, Caribbean Export supports CARIFORUM firms to participate in international trade shows to expand into new markets or increase market share. Caribbean Export works with a number of food and beverage agro-processors in the following sectors: natural food, natural cosmetics and nutraceutical products, sauces and condiments and alcoholic beverages. We also work to support Creative Industries such as music, film and animation, Financial Services, Health and Wellness, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Specialised Tourism and Renewable Energy.
