Avgo is a technology company addressing environmental issues encountered in the egg processing and the pharmaceutical industries.
Using a patented technology the company is able to convert eggshell waste into high specification calcium carbonate.
Overcoming the environmental and costs issues of the egg industry, while also overcoming the environmental issues, a large carbon footprint and contamination with Toxic Heavy Metals of mined calcium carbonate in the pharmaceutical industry. Avgo’s process is both low costs and offers a low carbon footprint, 4 x less than its mined competition, through the utilisation of of our own waste streams.
The technology is being considered for high volume and value applications beyond the industry for which it was developed.
