Jan van den Bosch was born in Veenendaal (The Netherlands) in 1971 and has a background in food technology. His current position is Group Manager I&D and QA which includes Sustainability and HSE for SanoRice Holding a multinational with > 200 million Euro turnover. In this position he is leading a team of R&D and sustainability specialists. The full spectrum food technology is under his responsibility. Key areas in the spectrum are: analytical analysis, product labelling, sustainability and product development.
Jan has a broad experience in food safety, food legislation, development of baby food and setting up international supply chains. Jan leads SanoRice to the highest standards of food safety, reflected by the higher level certificates of BRC and IFS for all factories. The research and development has given SanoRice a broad portfolio of standard rice cakes, chocolate cakes and baby-food.
Jan has led SanoRice to establish an international supply chain spanning India, Cambodia, Thailand, and Argentina, which has positioned SanoRice competitively in the rice cake manufacturing industry, both in terms of price and quality.
Jan is used to dealing with demanding international retailers, eg. Lidl, Tesco, Aldi and can translate their requirements into pragmatic solutions as well for quality and product development.
