Dr Shaheen Majeed, the Global CEO & Managing Director of the Sami-Sabinsa Group, is a visionary leader with over 25 years of experience in the nutraceutical ingredient industry. Under his leadership, Sabinsa has become a global powerhouse known for innovation, scientific rigor, and quality. Throughout his career, Shaheen has held key roles in sales, supply chain, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and marketing, driving the company’s worldwide expansion. As President Worldwide, he spearheaded strategies that extended Sabinsa’s reach across continents. His accomplishments include ensuring cGMP compliance, publishing numerous clinical studies, and launching category-leading products. With 62 U.S. and international patents and 31 peer-reviewed publications, Shaheen has significantly advanced scientific research and product innovation. His leadership also extends beyond Sabinsa, with executive roles at HB Natural Ingredients, BGG Americas, and Algae Health Sciences. Dr Majeed has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate (D.Litt.) by the University of Mysore on January 18, 2025.
