Niamh Brannelly completed a BSc in Nutritional Sciences at University College Cork in 2004, followed by a MSc in Dietetics at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2006. She later went on to complete a MSc in Food allergy and Immunology at the University of Southampton in 2010.
Niamh worked clinically as a dietitian for six years before joining Nutricia, where she began her career as a Paediatric Specialist Manager in Allergy. She then relocated to Utrecht, the Netherlands, to take on a role in R&I Communications. Over the following years, she held several global positions in Medical Affairs, working across multiple health categories.
Niamh spent 10 years living and working in the Netherlands before returning to Ireland in January 2025 to take up the role of Head of Nutrition and Science Communications in the UK at Danone.
