Midey González is a Food Science Engineer from Costa Rica with a specialization in food ingredient functionality from Wageningen University and an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Amsterdam. At IFF, she contributes to the Re-Imagine Wellness innovation program, with a focus on developing ingredient solutions that support weight management, protein enrichment, and metabolic health.

With over 25 years in the food and ingredient industry, Midey brings deep expertise in functional proteins, satiety-enhancing ingredients, and sugar reduction technologies. Her work centers on creating science-based solutions that improve nutritional profiles while maintaining consumer appeal.

She is a strong advocate for the food industry’s role in addressing global health challenges and is actively involved in initiatives that promote nutritional reformulation. Midey’s mission is to help deliver healthier, great-tasting products that empower consumers to make better dietary choices.
