With a background in business building and biosolutions, she brings together scientific insight and culinary practice to drive new approaches to global food system challenges. She is guided by a clear conviction: the food of the future must be sustainable, healthy, and exceptional in taste.
Before creating Spora in 2023 with Rasmus Munk (Founder of Alchemist), Mette spent 14 years at Novozymes in international leadership roles spanning alternative proteins, commercial strategy, and customer co-creation.
