Daniela Correia
Daniela Correia holds a degree in Food and Nutrition Science and a Master’s in Biotechnology and Innovation. As a registered dietitian in Portugal, she combines her expertise in nutrition with a passion for foodtech and innovation in the food industry. At MC, Portugal’s leading food retailer, Daniela acts as Senior Project Manager in the R&D and Innovation team, working across foodtech and sustainability, across product development, packaging and sustainable value chains. In this role, she fosters collaboration between MC and key players from the scientific and technological ecosystem, as well as industry partners, across the full innovation lifecycle — from concept development to consumer and in-market validation. She also leads the strategic vision of FoodLab Continente platform, which aims to drive food innovation, customer experience and real market xxperimentation through Continente stores in Portugal.
Through her work, she brings together science, industry and consumer insight with MC’s strong retail vision to address global challenges and drive more resilient and future-ready food systems.
