Caroline has over 25 years of technical management experience in the food manufacturing sector across both the UK and Europe, she has worked extensively with a broad range of chilled and ambient food categories. Her career reflects a long‑standing commitment to advancing food safety, regulatory compliance, and the effective management of high‑care operations.
She holds a Professional Doctorate from the University of Central Lancashire, where her research focused on strategies to strengthen hazard analysis and support the application of HACCP Principle 1 within high‑care food manufacturing environments. This work has contributed to a deeper understanding of how hazard analysis can be more robustly applied in complex production settings. She serves on several key committees, including the RSPH Food Safety Advisory Panel and the UK committee for ISO Food Safety Standards (AW/90).
