Ben leads the Food Hypersensitivity policy and strategy team. The aim of his team is to improve the quality of life for people with a food hypersensitivity. The focus of his work is policy development, research, supporting enforcement, and working to ensure that consumers aren’t unnecessarily excluded from the UK food culture. Prior to working at the FSA he worked at Defra in the agri-productivity programme – leading on work to increase investment and uptake of UK agri-tech.
