HAS green academy
After her PhD in Nutrition at Wageningen University in 1996 Annet Roodenburg worked for 16 years in the food industry (Unilever) as nutrition expert on the scientific approach towards healthier foods and responsible communication in order to help consumers to make healthier food choices. In 2010 she became professor (of applied sciences) in Nutrition and Health at HAS green academy. Her current (applied) research focus is: the food environment, food products, consumer behavior and the food industry. Her research work aims to make healthy and sustainable food choices easier for all.
