The Protein Brewery is a Dutch food ingredient innovator, advancing sustainable nutrition through biomass fermentation.

Our hero ingredient, Fermotein®, is a nutrient-dense mycelium powder. It delivers 50% protein (PDCAAS 1.0), 30% fiber, essential micronutrients, and naturally concentrated spermidine in one wholefood ingredient.

Preclinical studies show Fermotein® elevates GLP-1, induces prebiotic short-chain fatty acid responses, and increases gut microbial alpha-diversity.

We supply the active nutrition, better-for-you food, and dairy alternative markets, with exclusivity to sell in USA & Singapore. Our novel ingredient has a positive EFSA safety opinion, with EU authorisation anticipated this summer, and an almost final safety assessment of the FSA (UK).

With 41 employees and an FSSC-22000 certified, fully-operational commercial facility, we are scaling towards 2,500 MT production capacity.
