I have always been passionate about good food, both in taste, nutrition and sustainability. With a Masters in Food Technology from Wageningen University and a minor in Nutrition and Health, the foundation was laid to create products that do good. Having worked at Nizo food research, this strengthened my research mindset to always think one step further and question what you assume. While working with a 2-Michelin-starred chef at &samhoud, food grew the culinary drive that good food must always taste good, too. With more than half a decade of being responsible for the product development within Vivera, the focus on sustainability became ingrained. I have always been interested in how foods can influence our health for the better, and striving towards an open and honest discussion about this, trying to simplify some of the complexity without demonising specific food groups.
