Food Matters Live Manchester main stage programme announced

Food Matters Live Manchester returns to Emirates Old Trafford on 13–14 May, bringing together leading experts in NPD, technical innovation, and product reformulation.

Dr. Rodrigo Ledesma-Amaro, Director of the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein and Reader in Bioengineering at Imperial College London, will deliver the keynote address, sharing the latest research on alternative proteins and sustainable food systems.

Giles Yeo MBE, Professor of Molecular Neuroendocrinology at the University of Cambridge, will lead a discussion on ultra-processed foods (UPFs), examining the science behind the debate and its implications for public health and reformulation.

Rob Hobson, Registered Nutritionist, will also explore the growing role of functional nutrition in product development.
