Family Secret was launched by a husband and wife after they enjoyed recipes and flavours from all over the world during their honeymoon.
Once back in the UK, they started experimenting with these authentic flavours from their travels and shortly after, the Family Secret brand was born. They soon launched a range of cooking sauces which they strived to make healthy, delicious and convenient to use.
The flavoursome sauces were an attempt to offer consumers the restaurant experience in their own home. With that in mind Family Secret soon launched its range of snack boxes which included poppadoms and dips. Having secured a lucrative listing with Jet 2 Airlines in March 2020 when COVID-19 hit, Family Secret was left with surplus supplies of poppadom stock and so began experimenting once again. Not long after, a third product ‘proppadoms’ was launched in 6 different flavours.
