Sweet Potato is one of nature’s richest sources of Beta Carotene. A powerful antioxidant converted into Vitamin A within the body, scavenging free-radicals with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. These antioxidants have been found in studies to promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria including certain Bifidobacteriooum and Lactobacillus species.
