Welcome and thank you for joining me this weekend.

We all have eating habits, but what worked in our teens probably doesn’t work in our 60s. As we change and grow, so does our body. Different phases in life require different foods to meet our nutritional needs. And that’s not all. Our psychological relationship with food goes through a shift too.

In this week’s feature Nutrition in older age: keeping healthy and avoiding malnutrition we look at food can help us stay physically and mentally strong as we age.

Historically eating disorders have always been thought to be an issue affecting teenage girls and women, neglecting the fact that the male population suffers from them too. In this week’s Food Matters Live podcast Deanne Jade, Founder, the National Centre for Eating Disorders and Tom Quinn, Director of External Affairs, BEAT discuss why We need to talk about eating disorders in men and boys.

As we change and evolve, so do our culinary likes and dislikes. We find out more in The evolution of taste: flavours of the past, present and future.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
