Along with the government’s announcement last week that UK University students can return to teaching from today, Monday 17th May, the OfS (Office for Students) have released a ‘Graduate Employment & Skills Guide’ to support students and recent graduates.

The Office for Students (OfS) is an independent public body. They are not an official government body, but they report to Parliament through the Department for Education (DfE). They support students to succeed in higher education.

This guide is for students who are about to graduate and are at the start of their career journey.

It has been produced with 2021 graduates in mind, but current students and recent graduates may also find it helpful.

It sets out five important steps to help you, as students about to graduate, think about your choices and what you’d like to do next.
