X-TRA Guard – Millbo Srl
Extracted from the Rowan Berry, X-TRA Guard by Millbo Srl Italian is natural preservative created to replace the use of chemical preservative Sorbic Acid.
X-TRA Guard is fully derived from the Rowanberry’s natural botanical compounds. The extraction of the preservative has been developed with precision to keep all the properties of the Rowan Berry.
Launched in May 2021, X-TRA Guard meets the innovation needs outlined in the competition guidelines. The ingredient has been methodically developed by extracting and purifying the whole rowan berry, not just the oil, by using water extraction and filtration rather than chemicals, resulting in a product that is a clean natural botanical extract, with the effectiveness of a chemical.
X-TRA Guard contains natural sorbic acid and can be used in a variety of consumer goods, including carbonated low sugar drinks and sandwich fillers.
Millbo Srl is an Italian company based in Piedmont that specialises in innovative and natural baking solutions. Established 40 years ago, Millbo Srl is E-free and prides itself on the quality of their products, raw materials, and ingredient production.
