ZEBRA, the new food delivery service offering exclusively vegan and free-from foods will be available to Londoners from today (10.01.2022).

The company was founded by the Italian actor Emanuele Angeloni and Ezio Menga in 2021 and claims to be the first online marketplace in Europe to sell produce that is wholly plant-based.

ZEBRA will work together with a range of international small to medium-size producers to supply customers with well-renowned and high quality plant-based produce.

Just like popular delivery companies such as Gorillas and Getir, ZEBRA is an online grocery store which is accessible through an app, where shoppers can choose from a range of healthy and eco-friendly plant-based products and have them delivered straight to their door.

As well as sourcing produce that is good for the body and the planet, the company is also trying to reduce carbon emissions by using electric vans for all their deliveries.

Co-founder Ezio Menga said in a statement: “The ZEBRA team wants to help all those people that are struggling with any sort of food allergy or intolerance, and of course any people who just want to feel better.

“We want to facilitate the process of ordering food or other products to your home through one platform only, instead of ordering from different stores and taking ages for the pack to arrive. We believe in sustainability and that since the world is changing, so should we.”

The launch of ZEBRA comes in time for Veganuary, the yearly challenge where people try following a vegan diet for the month of January. This year’s edition of the challenge has been backed by a long list of celebrities including Chris Packham, Joanna Lumley and Venus Williams.
